Apple picking today

Wow, what a day! We had so much fun today visiting Nana and Granddad, and having Uncle Keith, Aunt Aislinn and cousin Noah there too. After a nice lunch we went to the orchard to get some apples. We filled a basket, and had fun doing it too.

After not finding many red apples we went to where the golden delicious were and we were able to fill our basket in no time at all.
Almost everyone ate at least 1 apple, I know I had 2 for sure, as Alun tasted 1 of the 4 red apples and he didn't like it so mommy ended up eating it, then I had to taste test a golden as well... oh so crisp and juicy, I'm glad we got a lot of those.

Alun was checking out all the pumpkins there as well, but at $5 each, they stayed there, especially when they are $2 each at the grocery store.

Everyone seemed to have fun, and since it's a new family tradition to go apple picking around thanksgiving, it's also a healthy one.... fresh air, walking, and healthy food and a good excuse to get the family together.
