what the ???

Well things were going well today, but then tonight after hubby and I were about to get ready for bed and I remember I needed to make some 'dip-dip' for Alun's apple slices for tomorrow. He really enjoys having special mommy treat with his apple in the mornings. Then hubby and I started talking about how he wishes that Alun wouldn't correct him with his pronunciations as some words he says with a British accent, then we started to talk about how we want him to start pronouncing words... either the Canadian or British ways. Well after about 10-15 minutes of debating I'm being told that the Canadian way of pronouncing things is the idiots way of speaking. I can't think of any other way of deciphering this than to think I am being called an idiot but in an indirect way. Well, looks like hubby and I have no had our first fight. It only took 12 years of marriage and 2 kids to get here, if he would have apologized for having made it sound like he was saying "speaking 'Canadian' makes you sound like an idiot" I'm sure I wouldn't be here writing this out and him being out to get a pack of smokes. Some times he is so much like his astrology sign and Chinese horoscope animal it's crazy.... a Taurus born in the year of the Ox.

Time to go and get ready for bed, maybe I'll sleep upstairs tonight.
